Some projects, when you get the business to leave the project from a productivity measure, what they really show is reduction in headcount or performance increase in terms of how many units they are going to increase in terms of manufacturing. | Bob Kraiss: Does anyone know in Silicon Valley the percentage increase in knowledge workers that it has gone to over the years? Have you heard numbers like that it has gone from 20% to 80% of the Silicon working force is knowledge workers? No one would argue that the trend is going toward knowledge workers. And, if we are going towards more knowledge workers, then those are becoming our customers. And the rules that we used for the IR no longer apply. Abe; But you can't measure the interaction between two people walking down the corridor and snapping an idea. |
