Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory
SPACE has been selected as the architects for the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory's office renovation project. This 50,000 square foot project includes a block and stack of administrative space and design of a prototype floor. The site provides an opportunity to experiment in more innovative and advanced approaches to office design. More group workspace for higher levels of collaboration is anticipated while the individual work areas are more focused to improve the quality of the working conditions. |

Chivas LA
The popular, Guadalajara, Mexico
based Chivas soccer club placed their U.S. expansion team, Chivas
LA, in Los Angeles in hope of dominating MLS (Major League Soccer)
within the U.S. Chivas LA plans to build administrative offices and
housing for its club in Los Angeles, and have selected SPACE to provide
architectural design services for this large-scale project, merging
U.S. and Mexican knowledge for a cross cultural solution. |

PRIDCO
PRIDCO, the Puerto Rico Industrial Development
Company, has retained SPACE and T&M Engineering to establish a
new state-of-the-art operations center. PRIDCO has developed more
than 30 million square feet of industrial space and 140 industrial
parks. The next step in PRIDCO expansion is to build space "ready
for business" to house operations, a call center or back office
operation functions. With the most attractive of cost structures of
any US location, and a tremendous technical and health care service
talent base, Puerto Rico is a location to be seriously considered
for potential expansion, relocation or outsourcing of business functions.

Puerto Vallarta Airport
SPACE was awarded the design of the Puerto Vallarta Airport, an expansion and renovation of the existing terminal. The project
goal is to create a new front door for Puerto Vallarta, a community
experiencing significant redevelopment and expansion. SPACE is proud
to be providing this new front door for the burgeoning resort community.

of work is significant in the life and biosciences industry, with laboratory

CoreNet Global - Northern California Chapter
SPACE organized a forum with CoreNet and the
Port of Oakland entitled, “Managing Real Estate in the Public
Sector”. Speakers focused on how Port officials brought
in private developers to build office, retail and housing projects
on Port land thereby maximizing the Port’s use of private
capital. This event was followed by a reception and tour of the
waterfront on the Potomac, Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s "Floating
White House". |
